First of all, Kate Phillips is the most gorgeous girl you could ever meet. She is so friendly, warm, approachable and extremely professional. Kate took some photos of my premature baby girl who arrived 5 weeks early, whilst in the Special Care Nursery at hospital. It was a very sensitive environment with other sick babies and stressed mothers and Kate was considerate, polite and professional taking photos quietly and discreetly whilst also being aware of her surroundings, especially the other mothers. I think Kate has a real gift with people, it also helps she is a relatively new mother herself and hence can relate well to both babies and their parents during what is normally a sensitive time.
Kate then took some other photos of my little girl when she was home with us and a few weeks older, again Kate captured beautiful photos of Saskia in moments of tenderness and warmth. Kate is extremely patient and her creativity is impressive, she took many different photos using all sorts of props, it was done with such ease on both her part and for my daughter.
Only a true professional would take time as Kate did to wait for a crying outburst to subside combined with frequent interruptions of nappy changes and then cheerfully snap away!
Kate combines her talent and infectious personality to capture beauty in every photo, I am thrilled with the photos I have received so far and they will be treasured for many years to come. I plan to use Kate for more family photo shoots in the future.
